"Tapping into Twain" |
|
Mark your calendars for Friday, October 3rd, 5:30-10pm and join us
at the
Mark Twain House & Museum, 351 Farmington Ave, Hartford for
"Oktoberfest 2008!" Live music, Mark Twain impressionist, silent
auction and local restaurant fare will round out an evening of
tasting the finest brews of New England. As you may be aware, The
Mark Twain House, a non-profit historical museum, has been facing a
very difficult financial crisis. A series of fundraisers scheduled
for this fall will help to keep the doors open and the legacy of
Mark Twain alive! Please plan to be a part of this truly
"historical" event and do your part to help save this venerable
museum.

Brewing Humor! |
The New Zealand rugby
team does a haka or war dance before each rugby match . . . its meant
to intimidate their opponents. We thought you might get a kick out
of what the Scots do to counteract it in this commercial . . .

Thanks to Tony Starkowski
of the Hartford Wanderers Rugby team for sending this in!
